Accessibility Statement & ADA Accommodations
Last updated: 26 June 2026
Dakotah Van Doran Photo is committed to making both this website and our in-person photography services accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities.
Website Accessibility
We strive to ensure this website is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a benchmark, and we work to:
• Provide meaningful alternative text for images
• Ensure sufficient color contrast and readable text
• Support keyboard navigation
• Maintain a clear, logical page structure for use with screen readers
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. If you encounter any barrier while using this website, please let us know using the contact information below, and we will work to address it as quickly as possible.
Accommodations for Photography Services
We want every client and guest to feel comfortable and included on their wedding day or during a session. We are happy to discuss accommodations for clients, wedding party members, or guests with disabilities, including but not limited to:
• Adjusting shot timelines or locations to account for mobility needs or accessible pathways
• Communicating in advance with venues regarding accessible entrances, restrooms, or seating for posed group photos
• Accommodating service animals
• Working with interpreters or communication aids as needed
• Adjusting our physical positioning or equipment setup to be considerate of sensory sensitivities (e.g., minimizing flash or shutter sound where requested)
We encourage clients to share any accessibility needs — their own, a family member’s, or a guest’s — as early as possible during booking or planning so we can coordinate accordingly with you and your venue/vendor team.

We will make reasonable efforts to respond to accommodation requests promptly and to work collaboratively to meet your needs.
A Note on Scope
This statement reflects our good-faith commitment to accessibility and reasonable accommodation. It does not constitute a guarantee that every barrier can be eliminated, particularly where accessibility is limited by a third-party vendor or venue’s physical infrastructure outside of our control. In those cases, we will do our best to advocate for and coordinate accessible options on your behalf.
